Noon to 6 p.m. Registration at Welcome Table in main lobby. Be sure to pick up an information packet and a welcome sack (that’s Texan for “bag”).
6 to 8 p.m. Reception and dinner, San Antonio-style. Enjoy a fun and casual evening with the flavors, sights, and sounds unique to our host city.

5 p.m. Depart by bus for Knibbe Ranch
9 p.m. First bus returns to hotel

About David Holmberg
Passionate about solving our nation’s health care problems, David is committed to delivering high-value products, services, and solutions, and to improving the total health care experience for members, patients, and consumers in the rapidly changing health care marketplace. David also serves as chairman of the board of Highmark Inc., the Blue-branded health insurance affiliate of Highmark Health, and on the board of directors of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and America’s Health Insurance Plans.
David joined Highmark Inc. in 2007 and has served in a series of executive positions. Most recently he was president, Diversified Businesses for Highmark Inc., where he was responsible for businesses representing more than $3.5 billion in revenue. He has also served as chief executive officer for HVHC Inc. and chief executive officer and chairman for HM Insurance Group, United Concordia Dental, and San Antonio-based Visionworks.
He earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
